Hail Damaged Skylight Replacement
One of two skylights on the city of Windsor’s Waste Water Treatment Facility had been severely damaged in one of Colorado’s many hail storms and is need of a skylight replacement.
What We Did:
- The cost effective solution was to replace the entire skylight with an identical unit.

- American Skylites Hipped Ridge 57″ x 81″ TCM-2-CC-CA-PYR Acrylic Curb Mount Skylights Clr/Clr Clr Anodized Frame
We suggested that we change out this skylight to a stronger glazing material in the future. But there may be reason to keep it light weight, such as removing the skylight to enable equipment to be easily accessed with a crane.
Note the dented metal roof in the picture above. These were huge hail stones that caused the damage to the skylights and to the roof.
